“Honey, where did you put my socks?” “Mom, I hate meat loaf. Can’t we order pizza?” “You do realize that the deadline is tomorrow, don’t you?” “We missed you at Bible study. Were you just too tired?”

As women, we constantly juggle the needs of everyone around us. We face enormous expectations and responsibilities the minute we get out of bed each morning. And in the midst of all the overwhelming demands on our time and energy, we often lose sight of who we are—of the women God intended for us to be.

So how should we cope? How can we find a healthy balance between earthly responsibilities and heavenly promises? God’s Word offers wisdom for all of us as we seek to become true women of faith.

Women in the Life of Jesus
Magazine

As the curtain came up on the New Testament, women faced a new day . . .

Walk just a while in Jesus’s footsteps, and you can’t help but notice the wonderful, faithful, faith-filled women who also followed Him and were impacted and changed by Him. Just so they could be part of what Jesus was doing, many women were content with any place of service on His ministry team, serving however was needed—giving financial support out of their own means, sitting at His feet, worshiping Him, feeding Him and His men, and eventually caring for His broken, crucified body. These were brave women—committed women who linked their arms in His for the proclamation of something bigger and more wonderful than the world had ever known.

In this magazine-style publication, exclusively from Insight for Living, you will visit with each one of these women whose life Jesus touched. You just may see your own story woven through theirs and experience your life in Christ as never before.
